For the fourth time in Russia, Vladimir Putin has won the Presidential election. Putin has received 75 percent of the votes. Putin was confident of winning with heavy votes and addressed his supporters in Moscow. He thanked the voters and said that the Russian people voted for him and expressed faith and hope for them.


In Russia, the President's tenure is 6 years, it means that Putin will remain President of Russia until 2024. In this election the main opposition leader Alexei Navalny was banned.


It is known that Putin has already become the leader of the post for the longest since Joseph Stalin, after this victory he will be in the presidency by 2024.
